Dr. Elizabeth Shelus attended Lewis University, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She graduated summa cum laude from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2011. While at the Illinois College of Optometry, Dr. Shelus was a member of the Tomb and Key honor society and the Beta Sigma Kappa honor society, and also earned the Gas Permeable Clinical Excellence Award.
Dr. Shelus practices primary eye care on patients of all ages, and has a strong interest in fitting contact lenses including soft, gas permeable, hybrid, and scleral lenses. She is trained in specialty contact lens fits for orthokeratology, keratoconus, post-surgical corneas, multifocals, and difficult to fit prescriptions. Dr. Shelus is also licensed to treat and manage various ocular conditions including eye infections and dry eyes.
